Bilo for Cinema

We have a beautiful Anarkali style Chooridar Kameez at Cinema!

The outfit comes in 3 different parts:  the kameez (long shirt), chooridar pajama (pants), and dupatta (scarf).  Each come in 9 colors for mixing/matching.

The chooridar pajama are partial mesh (system pants with a modifiable mesh ankle attachment). The kameez and dupatta are 100% rigged mesh and come in 5 standard sizes.

The Anarkali (meaning pomegranate blossom) style is named after a famous dancer in the court of Akbar, the Mughal Emperor. It is said that Anarkali was buried alive by Akbar because she and his son, Salim (later to become Jahangir), had fallen in love and the match was unacceptable to the empire.

The Anarkali Chooridar is currently only available at Cinema, but will be available in the mainstore after the event has ended.

New mesh and Bollywood poses

We have numerous new releases this week!   First are the Farzhaan Capri’s.  Farzhaan means “autumn,” in Urdu/Hindi, and they are warm, sightly shimmery tweed available in the 5 standard sizes.

Next we have “My Embroidered Skirt.”  Available in 5 colors, they are a thick, “hand embroidered,” knee length skirt in various warm fall tones.

Bilo also offers poses! Three pose packs are available this week, two specifically created to mimic actual dance styles, designed around the Chandramukhi Sari, and one in fun Bollywood variations.

The first sari pose is “Mujra,” named after a type of song and dance which were performed often for Mughal royalty throughout the Indian subcontinent.

The second sari pose set is “Kathak,” which is named after one of the classical dances of India, and originated in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. The word kathak loosely means “story telling.”

The third pose set is titled “Nachna,” as nachna simply means “dance!” It includes 5 variations of often dramatized Bollywood poses.

Items are available on the marketplace, as well as in-world.
